The biggest night in football and our young people were there up close with the best in the world!
BiG takes children to the 2026 Ballon d’Or Ceremony Awards organised by our funders Go! London. Watch this short film to hear in their own words what the experience meant to them!

BiG (Besty’s Inspirational Guidance) took 11 of our young people to the Ballon d’Or at the London Palladium. It was the biggest night in world football, and our young people were part of it. From the red carpet arrivals to the ceremony itself, they saw some of the world’s greatest players up close and came home buzzing with pictures, videos and memories to last a lifetime. Opportunities like this show our young people that the biggest stages are within reach. We are proud to have opened that door for them, and grateful to Go! London for making it possible.
BiG Football and Other Recreational Activities
These involve a range of football programmes and other diverse recreational activities, and are designed to create opportunities for health and recreation activities out of school hours. We believe in the importance of all recreational activities to help young people to develop a positive mindset whilst keeping healthy.

BiG relies on YOU to support us serve the community and therefore, we provide a number of voluntary opportunities. We could not have achieved what we have without the dedication of willing and committed volunteers who have been keen to be a part of something bigger than themselves and who have wanted to be part of a legacy with a real sense of purpose.

Motivation and Education
Consist of schools, community and online inspirational programmes that involve fun, developmental and hidden curriculum activities that support children and young people develop key life skills to enhance self-esteem, improve mental health and develop transferable skills such as critical thinking and problem-solving skills, whilst improving resilience.

Employability Skills and Development
Our Employability Skills Development workshops and work experience opportunities teach basic employability skills to teenagers in schools, school leavers, and young men and women. BiG offers stand-alone work experience opportunities, as well as those associated with the BiG YSA Volunteers Scheme, our employment journey programmes.
